A major deal has been secured by Ashot Ashkelon, which is controlled by the FIMI Opportunity Funds. The company reported that it will supply Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with $58 million in systems under a long-term agreement with a leading American aviation customer. System deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028.
The agreement is part of a group of significant contracts signed by Ashot in the aviation sector over the past year, which, together with the current agreement, total $250 million. The new contract represents a significant expansion of existing cooperation between Ashot and the customer, under which systems are sold for another civil aviation platform.
Major customers in the aviation industry consistently rank Ashot among their top partners due to product quality, engineering reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules. Ashot Ashkelon is a global technological leader in manufacturing drive systems, transmissions, and complex, specialized assemblies for armored vehicles. In addition, it supplies major international companies in military and civil aviation with critical systems, parts, and components, including moving parts and central rotating shafts for jet engines. In January 2026, the company raised NIS 120 million in a private placement from institutional investors intended to support mergers and acquisitions.
