Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu testified for the last time in his criminal trial on Wednesday. Traveling between the courthouse, security briefings and the Knesset to stabilize a frayed coalition, the prime minister attended 98 testimonies.

The current stage of the trial is the limited re-examination stage by the defense, the goal of which is to clarify points raised by the prosecution during cross-examination.

What will happen next is that the defense will continue to conduct re-examinations of other witnesses. This will take place in the Jerusalem District Court; Netanyahu’s testimonies exclusively were moved to the Tel Aviv District Court location due to security guarantees.

Netanyahu was indicted in 2020 on the charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust in three separate cases - 1000, 2000, and 4000.

This is a developing story.
