Several homes in the town of Gva'ot in the Gush Etzion region of the West Bank were evacuated on Friday after a fire broke out nearby, according to the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority.

According to IFRA, the wind drove the fire and pushed it toward the town, prompting the evacuation order.

Firefighting crews were deployed to the scene to put out the fire, assisted by four firefighting aircraft.
