I am honored and deeply grateful to be included in this year's list of 25 Young Zionist Vizionaries.
My excitement is doubled, because I believe the Jewish people are simultaneously living through one of our most remarkable eras and facing one of the greatest challenges in our history. The founding of the State of Israel, alongside the flourishing of Jewish communities across the Diaspora, is an unprecedented historical phenomenon. Yet, rapid technological disruption, regional instability, and a surging wave of global hatred present an immense challenge, one we must learn how to overcome with clear-eyed strategy, not just survival instincts.
The Jewish people do not have the luxury of mediocrity. We lack the capacity, and certainly the historical permission, to operate without vision. What for other nations may be a luxury, for us is a strategic and existential necessity.
Fortunately, we are blessed with an extraordinary generation. Exactly three years ago, on October 7th, I deployed as an IDF reservist to the Gaza envelope to fight the terrorists who breached our borders. I had the terrible privilege, which I would wish upon no one, of driving my younger brother, an active combat soldier at the time, into the battlefield, and then heading out myself with my unit to Kibbutz Magen to repel Hamas’s assault.
All around me, I saw soldiers charging forward, ready to risk everything to defend their brothers and sisters. That kind of solidarity does not emerge out of thin air. It is the product of a generation that, despite global trends where such values are increasingly rare, was raised on profound mutual responsibility, civic ownership, and the conviction that the world can be made better.
However, heroism on the battlefield is no longer enough; it must be translated into public policy and national leadership. Since that dark day, through my civic work for IDF reservists and our efforts at Ribo Center to shape Israel as an exemplary society, I have been privileged to meet countless towering figures. These are people willing to give everything for their community. Together, we are forging a new Covenant of Service (Brit Hameshartim), a commitment to an Israeli Republicanism that prioritizes the common good over tribal politics and sectarian divides.
This shared responsibility extends far beyond Israel's borders. The historic mission of rebuilding our sovereign strongholds in the South and the North requires a unified Jewish effort. We see this powerful synergy in the enduring work of organizations like Jewish National Fund-USA, whose unwavering commitment to developing the land and securing Israel’s periphery proves that the Zionist project is a shared, living partnership between Israelis and the Diaspora. Their dedication reminds us that the physical and social resilience of Israel rests on our collective shoulders.
These extraordinary virtues do not automatically erase the dangerous patterns and self-destructive tendencies toward internal division that have long shadowed our history. Left unchecked, tribalism threatens to dismantle from within what our enemies could not destroy from the outside. It is our generation's ultimate duty to harness the fraternity, depth, and foresight rooted in our heritage to rise above these divisions.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to Jewish National Fund-USA and the Jerusalem Post for this recognition. A national project that stands as a modern miracle has been established. A generation of extraordinary character, dedication, and capability has been tested and proven.
Now, our mission is clear: we must not repeat the historical tragedy of the Jewish people returning to their homeland only to fracture and fall apart. With visionary leadership and a renewed commitment to our shared destiny, we will ensure this miracle continues to thrive.
