Checkout is set to hit theaters on Thursday.

Celebrating Israeli filmmaking
Recently released Israeli movies that will be showing include Burning Man and two films by Tom Shoval, Life Without Credit, a drama about a mentally ill woman, and A Letter to David, a documentary about hostage David Cunio, which has been updated to include Cunio’s release.
The event is intended to celebrate and support Israeli filmmaking.
“Israeli cinema is a national pride,” Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar said. “For years, it has told our story, whether funny, painful, moving, or challenging. I call on the general public to come, enter the movie theaters, and support Israeli creativity.”
Zohar said that Israeli Cinema Day was created “to strengthen and promote Israeli culture in general, and Israeli cinema in particular. The quality of Israeli creativity, the messages, and our creators are our local pride here.
“I call on everyone: Go out to the movie theaters and celebrate Israeli creativity.”
