The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) killed the head of Hamas's internal security in central Gaza on Sunday, the military said on Monday.
The terrorist, Wael Musa Khaled Ladawi, commanded the Hamas agency as it collected intelligence for the planning and execution of terror activities, the military added.
The strike came on the same day the Security Cabinet approved the entry of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) into Gaza as part of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan.
ISF set to launch Gaza reconstruction pilot program in Rafah
The ISF is set to launch a pilot program in southern Gaza's Rafah involving reconstruction efforts.
Also on Sunday, the Cabinet granted immunity to the ISF and launched the Board of Peace’s (BoP) pilot phase for the restoration of basic services and humanitarian assistance and shelters in Gaza, specifically in areas outside of Hamas's control.
