The IDF began a wave of strikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning following the launch of two drones by Hezbollah terrorists towards troops operating within the security zone, the military announced.
During the Hezbollah attack, IDF soldiers opened fire on the drones and downed one of them.
No IDF injuries were reported.
Ahead of the strikes, IDF Arabic Spokesperson Lt. Col. Ella Waweya issued an evacuation order to residents of the southern Lebanese town of Arab Salim on X/Twitter.

"We urge all residents present in the building marked in red on the attached map and the adjacent buildings to evacuate immediately," she wrote. "You are located near a facility belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which the IDF will act against."
Residents were urged to stay at least 300 meters away from the building marked on the map Waweya shared.
"Remaining in the area of the building marked in red puts you at risk."
