The Israel Basketball Association management unanimously approved an initiative by Chairman Amos Frishman to return approximately NIS 500,000 to basketball clubs nationwide.
As part of the initiative, which reflects transparency, fairness, and responsible financial management, each club will receive a direct credit for every registered player with the association. The financial credit is expected to be carried out within the coming weeks and will provide breathing room and a significant boost to children's and youth infrastructure on the ground.
The initiative reflects a worldview under which the fruits of balanced and responsible management in the association return directly to the clubs, which serve as the main engine of Israeli basketball, while setting a new standard of mutual support and assistance during both routine times and emergencies.
Association chairman Amos Frishman said: "This is a values-driven and important step of returning resources directly to the clubs, aiming to ease their burden and assist them during this complex period. Responsible financial management is not just a managerial goal, but a tool that allows us to return resources to the field – to the place where the next generation of Israeli basketball grows.
"My goal is to continue this managerial line and make as many tools and budgetary resources as possible available to the clubs.
