You’ve got to hand it to Yehuda Meitav, a music content creator, whose latest Instagram clip highlights the iconic showpieces of world nations: France has its Eiffel Tower, Italy has its Leaning Tower of Pisa, Australia has its white-sailed Sydney Opera House, America has the Statue of Liberty, India has the Taj Mahal, but Gaza – miles and miles of tunnels.
If you had no other information, that alone is all you need to know to conclude that, unlike the rest of humanity, which builds beauty and constructs treasure, Gaza is occupied with the business of destruction!
It’s a sad, tragic commentary and a slamming insult to the creator, who intended life to be filled with the wonders of joy, beauty, happiness, and love. Instead, Gaza has chosen to swap all that for inner seething rage, hatred, and the planning of death and carnage.
When considering the stark comparison, the obvious and singular conclusion is that such a blight, directed towards the Jewish people, and pretty much everyone else who refuses to bend the knee to Islam, must be treated as a devastating cancer that needs to be excised from the rest of mankind.
Anyone who sees each day as another block of time to fully devote themselves to the work of annihilation cannot be grouped with those who honor life and seek to preserve it through any means available.
Somewhere along the line, these enemies of humanity threw in their lot with a demonically-inspired system, which seeks total subservience and bondage, turning its back upon all of the pleasures that we were meant to savor and enjoy.
Imagine, as Meitav explained, living in a coastal paradise where creating heaven on Earth was possible, but instead, making the choice to live under the ground, digging into the darkness for the purpose of transporting weapons and holding hostages, whose punishment was never to see the sky or breathe the air.
Can they share our species when they have taken on the likeness of demons who no longer have the capability of clear thinking, rational expression, or feelings of the heart?
That’s what’s reflected in their chosen pastime of tunnel-building: the ultimate rejection of living with sanity and normalcy, or getting along and co-existing with others who were also put on this Earth to share what it has to offer.
And the possibilities are endless! The pleasures of good food, stimulating relationships, inspiring faith, the beauty of art, the wonders of nature, the ecstasy of love, the miracle of childbirth, soul-stirring music, magnificent sunsets, the joys of humor, the stories of courage and valor, and, most importantly, the blessings that come to each one of us from the hand of God.
Who holds such things as worthless engagement, spitting on their value and exceptional reward? Only heartless and mindless creatures who are committed to the devil’s work.
Consequently, each one of those keffiyeh-wearing, Palestinian flag carriers, protesting throughout the streets of Europe, is a co-laborer in the killing fields of Gaza, a self-appointed accomplice who has made their choice to walk away from the precious gifts endowed to the world through so many mediums.
Rather than enjoying an evening concert or a fun-filled gathering with friends around a wonderful meal, they deprive themselves of the greatest pleasures, opting to join an angry street mob with a lust for violence and anarchy.
If that is not a visible image of the metastasizing cancer in our midst, then what is?
These are the people whose demand began with the two-state solution, beckoning us to accommodate those whose goal was to push us into the sea, eventually taking all the land for themselves.
From there, it deteriorated into a finger-pointing blame fest, accusing the nation of Jews of every evil under the sun, until the disguise completely fell off.
Digging tunnels
Now, there is no more clever framing of co-existence – two states for two peoples, pushing the lie that such a concept is workable, because that was expressed just a few nights ago on Israel’s N12’s evening news broadcast, when reporter Ohad Chemo stood on Paris streets with a microphone interviewing the protestors.
When he asked one of them how he would resolve the Gaza situation, his response was to unapologetically declare that all of Israel must be wiped out. It is one voice among a crowd of hundreds of thousands, but those words represent the sentiments of many Europeans who have decided that Israelis are unworthy of sharing the same planet.
It is not because they have personal knowledge, understanding, or factual information that has contributed to their sick, demented conclusion. But instead, due to a growing rage, constantly fueled by the dissemination of unjustified hatred for an ethnicity which has created the most beauty, advancement, and benefit for all the world to enjoy.
That’s called a suicidal pact of self-destruction, preferring to hurt oneself instead of basking in the blessing.
Consequently, they, too, have chosen the tunnels of Gaza, valuing the darkness more than the light, savoring the ugliness more than the splendor of God’s work. Their hatred has blinded them to the beauty all around them, to the point where they are unable to see.
But the curse to which they are bound has not only wreaked its damage on them, but, as they proceed with their “holy mission,” it has tried to completely upend life as we knew and enjoyed it.
Lamentably, they cannot see that their goal of destruction leaves nothing in its wake – not for them nor anyone else. It shatters the dream of all creation, turning everything into dust, only enjoyed by slithering snakes.
So, it’s come down to a literal life-or-death choice, with the world being split into two sides: one wants life, and one seeks death. One longs for light while the other embraces darkness.
Each person must do the required soul-searching represented by the “tunnels of Gaza,” in Meitav’s clip, arriving at the understanding that there is no semblance of life for human beings who want more than the dark underground abyss, representing a chilling reminder of the depths to which we can sink when we allow hatred to fill our hearts.
No one should dig those tunnels into their own souls.
