The burglary at Eder Militao's home took place during the high-profile El Clasico clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona last week. According to a report by El Mundo, at least two intruders infiltrated the Brazilian center-back’s residence in the exclusive La Moraleja neighborhood of Madrid, fleeing with high-end timepieces and fine jewelry valued at over €350,000.

The break-in occurred between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, right during the opening half of the match, throughout which Militao remained on the bench as an unused substitute. At the time of the incident, several family members were downstairs watching the game, completely unaware that a burglary was unfolding above them.

The stolen haul included a Rolex watch valued at €53,000 and an ultra-exclusive Richard Mille timepiece worth approximately €170,000. Additionally, the thieves made off with three Chanel handbags valued at roughly €15,000, Cartier rings and bracelets worth around €25,000, alongside various other pieces of jewelry, designer suitcases, and luxury goods.

Police forces arrived at the player's residence alongside private security staff from the gated residential complex after receiving an emergency report of the break-in. Officers only discovered the scale of the intrusion upon entering Militao’s master bedroom, where personal belongings had been scattered and the space thoroughly ransacked. Reports confirmed that family members on site failed to notice any suspicious activity in real time.

This incident marks yet another entry in a troubling series of burglaries targeting high-profile soccer players across Spain. Organized criminals increasingly capitalize on match schedules, taking advantage of athletes' absence or relying on family members being preoccupied with watching the live broadcasts.
