A new venue in Petah Tikva aims to change the equation by combining an international circus show with a full world of attractions, challenges, and hands-on experiences. Circo Land, created by Florentin Circus, opened this summer and offers a family outing intended to last about three hours, far beyond the duration of the show itself.
Inspired by major circus and entertainment centers worldwide, audiences do not simply arrive to sit down in front of the arena. Visitors arrive about two hours before the show starts and can move between a series of activity zones. Among other features, the site offers a ninja complex with challenge courses, extreme inflatables, a motorized area, a gyro, target games, and circus workshops where visitors can try their hand at juggling and other circus skills.
Water and foam are also part of the setup, featuring a water complex with inflatables and a foam cannon, an addition intended to be particularly attractive during hot summer days.
A circus performance surrounding the audience
After children and parents have burned off some energy in the activity areas, they reach the highlight of the visit: An international circus show hosted in a 360-degree round tent.
The performance features artists and acrobats from around the world, incorporating aerial acts, acrobatics, and routines that require significant strength, balance, and daring. The tent's circular design is intended to bring viewers closer to the action. Instead of a stage positioned solely in front of the audience, the show surrounds viewers from all sides, allowing them to watch the performers from various angles.
For children, one of the most intriguing activities is the circus workshops, where they can personally test skills from the world of juggling and circus arts. In this way, for at least a few minutes, visitors can transition from spectator to performer.
Where is it and how much does it cost?
Circo Land is located at 23 Hamefalsim Street in Petah Tikva. The venue will operate during the summer and high holidays until the end of Sukkot on October 3.
A box office ticket costs NIS 99. MAX cardholders can purchase a ticket for NIS 45, and discounted rates and benefits are also available through consumer clubs, credit card companies, and retail chains. Tickets can also be purchased through the Le'an website.
For those preferring public transportation, the venue is within walking distance of the Israel Railways Kiryat Aryeh station and the Red Line light rail station. Drivers will find free adjacent parking on site.
