Looking for a few hours of quiet in the middle of the holiday season? The Harmony in the Forest wellness event returns this year to Lahav Farm in Bnei Shimon, expanding for the first time into a two-day event featuring an evening for adults and an activity day for families.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Friday, September 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Now in its third year, the event offers a combination of body and mind activities, nature, food, and activities based on local creation.

Adults' evening: Workshops, wine, and wellness

Thursday evening is intended for adults only and will take place across the grounds of Lahav Farm. Participants will be able to choose two workshops from a variety of activities, including yoga, breathing exercises, movement, ice baths, sheep herding, and sand painting.

Alongside the workshops, a vegan cooking workshop with chef Tal Dadon will feature local ingredients. Baked goods and local produce from the Rimon Farm Association café will also be offered on site, and participants will receive a glass of wine from the nearby Shomriya Winery upon entry.

Lectures and personal VIP treatments

At the center of the evening will be a lecture by Dr. Maayan Boiman Meshita, "The Practice of Happiness," focusing on everyday tools for strengthening resilience and mental well-being, as well as the impact of small habits on mood.

Those who choose a VIP ticket will also be offered personal treatments, including massage, shiatsu, Zen meditation, and body-mind therapies.

The event takes place at Lahav Farm, which operates as part of the Rimon Farm Association, and most of the participating instructors and vendors come from the area. According to the organizers, the goal is to combine a wellness experience with support for local businesses and initiatives in the Negev.
