About two weeks after the draw that yielded him a NIS 10 million prize in the Double Lotto track, the happy winner arrived at the Mifal HaPayis lottery headquarters and excitedly spoke about the moment he discovered the win and his plans for the future.

The winner, in his 50s, shared that he usually fills out a lottery ticket every week, using a fixed set of numbers that he has been replicating for some time. "This time I came to the booth to submit a ticket and told the booth owner to check the previous ticket I filled out," he shared.

After checking the ticket, it became clear that it was a high-value win, but the booth owner was unable to say the exact amount. "The computer showed that it was a high-value win, but the booth owner couldn't tell what the winning amount was. He told me that I could scan the ticket and see how much I won," the winner recalled.

He scanned the ticket, and then the exciting news became clear: "The scan showed that I won 10 million. I was very excited, and the first call was to my wife - I told her: I won the lottery."

According to him, it took a little time for him and his wife to digest the news, and at the first stage they decided to keep the matter of the win between themselves. "It took us a little time to digest, and in the meantime we kept the matter of the win between the two of us. We have a combat soldier son, and I am just waiting for him to come home to break the happy news to him," he said with excitement.

Regarding plans for the future, he said: "The first thing my wife and I will do is pay off the mortgage. We will maintain our regular routine and indulge ourselves a bit more with trips abroad."
