Ashdod Port Company will participate in TOC Asia 2026 in Singapore next month, seeking to expand its international partnerships and introduce Israeli maritime technology companies to new markets.

The delegation will be led by Roy Avrahami, head of Ashdod Port’s Maritime Technology HUB, and include three startups from its portfolio: Conbo, Spinframe Technologies and HyphaPower. Their technologies have already been deployed in Ashdod Port’s operational environment.

The port’s participation aims to establish new go-to-market channels for Israeli companies and strengthen ties with venture capital funds, government agencies and ports worldwide. Singapore, a major international shipping and trade hub, serves as a gateway to markets across the Asia-Pacific region.

Since its establishment, Ashdod Port’s Technology HUB has supported approximately 150 startups, acquired 14 technologies and invested approximately NIS 16 million in eight startups through equity investments.

The three companies joining the delegation offer solutions for port operations, logistics and energy management. Conbo uses computer vision to turn existing CCTV infrastructure into real-time operational sensors and digital twins, providing greater visibility into port activities. Spinframe Technologies has developed an AI-powered system for automated vehicle inspections and visual scanning, creating digital representations of vehicles as they move through the logistics supply chain.

HyphaPower develops an integrated platform for port electrification, designed to stabilize power flows, reduce energy consumption and provide modular energy storage for cranes and cargo-handling equipment.

Shaul Schneider, chairman of Ashdod Port’s board of directors, said the port had a responsibility to help shape the future of maritime trade while supporting Israel’s economic resilience and strategic standing.

“Global maritime trade today demands stability, flexibility, and forward-thinking leadership,” Schneider said. “Combining today's industrial capabilities with tomorrow's technologies ensures Israel's economic resilience, operational independence, and strategic standing on the international stage.”

Nissan Levy, CEO of Ashdod Port, said integrating new technologies into port operations and supply chains could improve efficiency while creating opportunities for Israeli companies to expand internationally.

“Operational resilience is measured by the ability to transform industrial challenges into technological opportunities,” Levy said. He added that bringing these solutions to overseas ports could help establish advanced industry as a driver of growth for the Israeli economy.

Avrahami said the Technology HUB allows startups to test and refine their solutions in a real-world operational setting before approaching international markets.

“The unique model of Ashdod Port's Technology HUB enables companies to refine their technologies in a real-world operational environment and conduct on-site proof-of-concept (PoC) trials,” Avrahami said. “At international events such as TOC Asia, we take these companies to the next level, providing a direct springboard into global markets.”

He described the Singapore delegation as a continuation of the port’s efforts to turn domestic technology investments into international business opportunities.
