Bank Hapoalim marked Pride Month this week, as it does every year, in a special event held for its employees, during which it hosted the musician, lecturer, and creator Tal Ramon, son of the late Rona and Ilan Ramon and brother of the late Asaf Ramon. The meeting, which was led by the Employee Experience Unit in the Human Resources Division and took place at the Bank's club, combined a personal conversation alongside musical segments performed by Ramon, who sang and played his songs.
During the evening, Ramon shared with honesty and openness the central turning points in his life: From the public and personal coping with the family loss, through the choice to grow out of crisis and find meaning and hope, and up to the journey of self–discovery and coming out of the closet. Through his personal story and his music, he gave the audience an inspiring evening that dealt with resilience, identity, self–acceptance, and the ability to choose life even in the most challenging moments.
This event joins activities and initiatives that the Bank promotes on an ongoing basis, with the aim of encouraging employment diversity and creating an inclusive and egalitarian work environment. Within this framework, the organization works to create intra–organizational platforms that provide access to an open discourse on social issues, based on the perception that familiarity with stories of resilience and inspiration contributes directly to the cohesion and systemic resilience of the male and female employees.
