After we told you about the expansion of the indulgent pita chain Oved Bakfar and its arrival in Kiryat Ono, it is now the beloved pizza's turn to leave the borders of Tel Aviv and land in the Valley.

The newest addition to the lineup of promising restaurants coming to Kiryat Ono is La Tigre, the Neapolitan pizza joint opened in Florentin by pizzaiolo Yaron Segal, Dudi Afriat, and Amir Ben Shitrit, which became famous for its spotted orange Taboon oven and pizzas that won international titles, and from there expanded to an additional restaurant in Basel.

Following a successful acclimation in Basel, it was the Ono Valley's turn, and the partners published a "cheers" photo after closing the deal.

The Kiryat Ono branch of La Tigre will open after the High Holy Days, towards the end of 2026, and the location is no less exciting: Close to the Kiryat Ono Mall, in the new Boni HaTichon project.

The new restaurant will also feature a DJ booth, and we are excited just by the thought of a tiramisu cart, Aperol Spritz, and a plump, soft, and elastic pizza with a topping of mortadella, pistachio puree, and honey. Yum!
