Civil Administration forces rescued three Israeli Jews in recent hours after they entered Palestinian Authority areas on Sunday night.

The incidents occurred near Bethlehem, Jericho, and Ramallah, which fall under the West Bank's Area A. Israelis are generally prohibited from entering Area A.

Earlier Sunday, the Civil Administration received a report about an armed Israeli Jew who was spotted near the village of Ein Arik, located in the Binyamin area. Officers from the Binyamin Coordination and Liaison Administration worked to rescue him through coordination channels, and he was transferred to an IDF team.

At the same time, the Civil Administration received a report about an Israeli Jewish woman who was seen walking through the city of Jericho in the Jordan Valley area, putting herself at risk.

Officers from the Jordan Valley Coordination and Liaison Administration acted quickly to rescue her. An initial investigation found that she had intentionally entered the Palestinian city.

Woman was taken to Hebron by force earlier in August

In Bethlehem, an Israeli man who appeared to be suffering from mental distress was seen wandering the streets of the city. Local residents passed the information to security forces, and he was quickly handed over to them.

All three incidents were transferred for further handling by the Judea and Samaria District Police. The security establishment reiterated that entering Area A, which is under the control of the Palestinian Authority, is life threatening and prohibited by law.

In a separate incident earlier this month, a woman in her 20's living in central Israel who had been forcibly taken to Hebron was located and rescued by authorities.

Israeli police, IDF troops and Palestinian Authority police were involved in the rescue operation.

The woman had been taken to the West Bank city by her relatives, who were detained and will be transferred to the Tel Aviv district for further investigation, police said, adding that the woman was in good health at time of rescue.
