The IDF killed one terrorist and arrested a second terrorist who attempted to commit a car-ramming attack against soldiers stationed in the Ganim area of the Menashe Brigade's sector of the West Bank, the military said on Sunday afternoon. 

IDF troops and Border Police officers are currently operating at the scene.

No injuries were reported, the IDF said.

Attack comes an hour after drive-by shooting terror attack kills one

The attempted ramming attack comes an hour after one person was killed in a drive-by shooting terror attack took place at a spring near Neveh Tzuf.

According to initial reports, the terrorist opened fire at Israelis bathing in a nearby spring from what appears to be a red Mitsubishi SUV with Palestinian Authority license plates. He then exited the vehicle armed and fled the scene on foot.

He was evacuated by helicopter to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva, before succumbing to his wounds.

A manhunt for the terrorist is underway.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir conducted a situational assessment and ordered the deployment of additional security forces to the sector to aid in a manhunt.
