Hapoel Tel Aviv has announced that, pursuant to the directive of club chairman Stav Shaham, the club has adopted a new policy under which it will stop suing its fans. In a statement issued on behalf of the team, it was stated: "In the spirit of the new path chosen by the club, and in the spirit of the month of forgiveness, it will be clarified that the club's policy is to avoid legal proceedings against the Hapoel fan community.
"Even today, the ongoing legal proceedings are proceedings in which the club is a defendant and not a plaintiff. However, for the sake of clarity and in the spirit of these days, it will be clarified that to the extent that warning letters or other proceedings exist, they are canceled. The goal is clear: To resolve disputes through discourse and dialogue, and to meet Hapoel fans in the stands, not in court."
Club chairman Stav Shaham said: "We are starting a new chapter. Even when there are disputes, our path should be discourse, dialogue, and the understanding that we are all part of the same community. The place for Hapoel fans is with us, in the stands, and not facing the club in court. In the spirit of the month of forgiveness, it is time to leave these things behind and move forward together."
