Who will finish as the top scorer among Israeli players in MLS? While Tai Baribo leads the way with 15 goals, Idan Toklomati closed the gap on Saturday by scoring his 13th goal of the season for Charlotte FC in a 2–2 away draw against the Philadelphia Union, halting the hosts' eight-game winning streak. In doing so, the Israeli national team forward set a new club record for the most goals by a Charlotte player in a single regular season.

Milan Iloski opened the scoring for the hosts with a precise penalty in the 24th minute, but Toklomati responded early in the second half, supplying an assist with a through ball to 19-year-old Rodolfo Aluku in the 48th minute. Toklomati then found the back of the net himself in the 62nd minute, connecting with a clever header following a cross from David Schnegg. Bruno Damiani later leveled the score for Philadelphia in the 73rd minute. Liel Abada replaced Allan Saint-Maximin in the 84th minute, though neither side was able to find a late winner as the scoreline remained unchanged.

With four games remaining in the regular season, Charlotte continues its push for playoff positioning and currently sits fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.
