"The strikes are designed to continue degrading Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz," the US Central Command said in a statement on X.

CENTCOM spokesman Navy Capt. Tim Hawkins told The Jerusalem Post that US forces remain ready to strike Iranian capabilities threatening commercial shipping.

The report noted that six teams, backed by the army and National Guard, responded to the strike, with no injuries reported and damage limited to material losses.

Ghalibaf issued this message as Iran's IRGC said that its aerospace forces carried out a heavy attack on US aircraft carrier support and refueling platforms in the port of Duqm, in Oman.

"When you have a ceasefire and Iran is basically violating the ceasefire, I think it is totally crucial that the US forcefully react," said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

According to the IDF statement, the four terrorists had been advancing attacks against IDF troops operating in the strip.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on social media platform X the action was launched in response to multiple terrorist attacks across the country, the report said.

The US had pressured Israel to adhere to a real ceasefire with Hezbollah. In the past, the ceasefires were only in name, and strikes continued against one another.
