Shlomo Argov survived the London shooting attack but remained paralyzed, while Israel launched a campaign that expelled the PLO and set the stage for Iran's Islamic regime to establish Hezbollah.

The March shooting left Mayor Nassar seriously wounded and Dr. Anwar Yassin, head of the local popular committee, moderately wounded.

Cole Thomas Allen, 31, did not speak in court as his attorney entered the plea on his behalf.

Allen's lawyers raised concerns that he was placed on suicide watch despite showing no suicidal tendencies during a health evaluation and was housed in a padded cell for 23 hours a day.

Allen was assigned a "safe cell," described as a padded room with 24-hour lockdown procedures.

US Magistrate Judge Matthew Sharbaugh ordered Allen detained while the case moves forward. Sharbaugh scheduled another hearing over Allen's continued detention for Thursday. 

The 22-year-old suspect was tasked with gathering intelligence, including photographing the Haifa port and missile impact sites in northern Israel.

Before the assassination was confirmed, two sources gave The Jerusalem Post different indications on the likelihood of the success of the operation, which took place Tuesday night.

The footage shows the suspect demonstrating the alleged plan using a vape pen placed on a napkin to represent his intended target.

Petro alleged that a “new drug cartel board” has been plotting to kill him since he assumed office in August 2022, El Tiempo reported.
