Three years after the attack on Simchat Torah, there are few remnants of the hostage families’ encampment: the tunnel replica, a few yellow ribbons and a sign bearing the words “Remember 7.10.23.”

Damari also decried the escalating antisemitism faced by Jewish communities around the world, including the United Kingdom, in the wake of October 7.

"In the army they always told us, there's no such thing as a 100% perfect defense, there will always be some weak point," he explained.

Gonen was abducted from the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im on October 7, 2023, after Hamas terrorists attacked the festival and communities across southern Israel.

"I feel that I’m not alone and that there's so much love in this world, and we need to keep it with both our hands," Aviva Siegel said. "I feel very, very lucky to be alive."

"We will carry their stories with us and educate generations of commanders and soldiers by their example," Eyal Zamir said, referring to all those who have fallen during and since the massacre.

Dozens of people affected by the attack launched a social media campaign with the hashtag "we are all October 7," in which those affected by the massacre share the messages received.

Additionally displayed in the exhibit are the documentary work “Local Testimony for 2023” and a musical playlist consisting of Israeli songs that have become part of the war’s soundtrack.

"Three years ago at this time on Simchat Torah I was deep, deep in the Gaza Strip," Damari wrote in her post.
