US Navy reveals ultra-long-range air-to-air AIM-424 Malice missile with over 460 km. range

The missile, which is undergoing testing, is being developed and will be manufactured by Raytheon to give pilots operating from US aircraft carriers the ability to destroy from very long range.

The Navy states its range is “in excess of 250 nautical miles,” placing it well beyond conventional beyond‑visual‑range weapons such as the AIM‑120 AMRAAM.
