Reporters Without Borders, known by its French acronym RSF, said it supported 1,468 journalists between 2021 and 2025 who fled threats, imprisonment, or threats to their lives.

As Iran-US talks continue in Switzerland, Pakistan is positioning itself as a key intermediary, with US Vice President JD Vance signaling strong support for its involvement.

Both Iran and the US have agreed to establish a High-Level Committee for political oversight during future talks, said the joint statement.
