Planning a family vacation in Israel for the holidays? Right now, at the beginning of the summer vacation, there are quite a few popular hotels where you will already find it difficult to find a vacancy. Therefore, it is definitely advisable to hurry. And regarding the prices? We conducted a sample check in four leading destinations in Israel (Eilat, the Dead Sea, Tiberias, and Jerusalem) – and the results are before you.

Except in cases where specified otherwise, the prices are for a couple+2 for a vacation of three nights during Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot, mostly in five-star hotels. The prices were checked on the official websites of the hotels, and they are correct as of mid-July.

The destination: Eilat

Isrotel Royal Garden

A suite hotel that is especially suitable for family vacations, which includes a shopping avenue with designer stores and restaurants, a water park and a pool complex, a theater with shows (including the WOW show), and more.

The price of a room for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 11,109 on a half-board basis or NIS 8,886 on a bed and breakfast basis.

The price of a room for four nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 26–30): NIS 13,672, on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 11,620.

Orchid Hotel Eilat

The hotel, which overlooks the Red Sea Gulf and the Edom Mountains, includes a swimming pool, a gym, a spa complex, a kids' club, a bicycle rental service, and more.

The price of a Superior Siam room with a gallery: NIS 10,773 for three nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 27–30) on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast only: NIS 8,835. As of now, no vacancies remain for Rosh Hashanah.

Herods Palace Hotel

This hotel, which is also popular among families, offers a swimming pool with direct access to the beach promenade, a children's pool, a kids' club that includes guided activities, a gaming complex for youth, a spa complex, a business lounge, a gym, a restaurant, and more.

The price of a Deluxe room: NIS 18,360 for three nights including Sukkot Eve (September 24–27) on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 14,640. As of now, no vacancies remain for Rosh Hashanah.

The destination: The Dead Sea

The price of an Executive Double room for three nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 27–30): NIS 14,541 on a half-board basis. The price for full board: NIS 16,791.

David Dead Sea

The hotel offers attractions and activities for children, including the Davidland club, as well as two restaurants, a gym and sports courts, a spa complex containing pools, saunas, and more.

The price of a Classic room during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13) on a half-board basis: NIS 13,479 on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 10,477.

The price of a Classic room during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 27–30) on a half-board basis: NIS 13,538 on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 8,408.

The destination: Tiberias

The price of an Executive room (facing the Sea of Galilee) for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 10,571 on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 7,731.

The price of an Executive room (facing the Sea of Galilee) for three nights including Sukkot Eve (September 24–27): NIS 9,340 on a half-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 6,641.

Caesar Premier Tiberias

The hotel, located within walking distance of the Sea of Galilee, has an indoor heated pool, treatment rooms, salt baths, a spacious gym and a sauna, entertainment and leisure programs designed for different ages, and more.

The hotel, which is especially popular among families, offers a family vacation on the shores of the Sea of Galilee with a private beach, a water park, a pool, a spa, a kids' club, and more.

The price of a Deluxe room with a balcony for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 11,756 on a full-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 10,688.

The price of a Deluxe room with a balcony for three nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 27–30): NIS 9,619 on a full-board basis. The price for bed and breakfast: NIS 8,550.

The destination: Jerusalem

Mamilla Hotel

This designer hotel is adjacent to the Old City and offers gourmet restaurants (including a rooftop restaurant), a spa complex, a gym, a pool, and more.

The price of a Mamilla Suite for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 7,762 on a bed and breakfast basis. This price is also identical for three nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot (September 27–30).

The David Citadel Hotel

The hotel offers luxury restaurants, a wellness complex that includes a spa, a gym, and more.

The price of a Family Superior room for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 10,962 on a bed and breakfast basis (during Chol Hamoed Sukkot and the rest of the week, a minimum of eight nights is required – it is recommended to check the website at the time of booking).

The King David Hotel

This is one of the most luxurious hotels in Israel, and it is even renowned worldwide. It offers gourmet restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a luxury spa, as well as activity for children (including a children's pool).

The price of a Family room for three nights during Rosh Hashanah (September 10–13): NIS 18,185 on a bed and breakfast basis.

The price of a Family room (in this case – a couple plus 1) for five nights during Chol Hamoed Sukkot and the rest of the week (this number of nights is the only one remaining for this date: September 27 to October 2): NIS 27,881 on a bed and breakfast basis.

So how much will a holiday vacation in Israel 2026 cost you? According to the check, a family that wants to indulge in a high-quality hotel in one of the highly requested destinations will easily have to part with tens of thousands of shekels, especially if choosing half board, large rooms, and five-star hotels. On the other hand, those who book early, compare prices, and remain flexible with dates, might still find more worthwhile options.
