German airline Condor, which has operated since 1956, officially launched its daily flight route between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv on Saturday, with its inaugural flight landing at Ben-Gurion Airport. The new route will strengthen air connectivity between Germany and Israel, offering convenient access for passengers departing Germany for Tel Aviv, a major tourism and business destination.
Flight prices found on the company's website range between €400 and €500 in August, with some dates reaching €1,000 one-way. However, numerous flights were also found for €99 one-way as seasons change and weather cools. Based on annual averages, a one-way flight will cost approximately €350. The price includes a hand bag up to 8 kg., but excludes checked baggage up to 20 kg., which requires an additional fee of about €40 each way.
Condor is one of Germany’s oldest and most recognized airlines. In recent years, the company completed a large-scale international rebranding campaign that introduced a unique design for its aircraft featuring colorful stripes in yellow, blue, red, green, and beige. The design, inspired by the sun, striped beach towels, islands, and the sea, has become one of the brand's most recognizable symbols.
Condor will operate the Frankfurt-Tel Aviv route daily. Flights will depart Frankfurt in the afternoon and return from Tel Aviv the following morning. The new route supports the expansion of the company's international route network and addresses growing demand for flights between Israel, Germany, and Condor’s global destinations.
80% of passengers continue on to another destination
Yesterday's inaugural flight to Frankfurt was fully booked, with approximately 80% of passengers continuing on connecting flights to destinations in North America and East Asia. The inaugural flight was welcomed at Ben-Gurion Airport in a festive ceremony attended by Condor representatives and senior aviation industry executives.
The launch of the new route represents a significant milestone for Condor and Tal Aviation Group, expanding the variety of international airlines and destinations available to travelers.
Passengers will be able to choose from a variety of fare options and service classes according to their needs. On short-haul flights, the company offers business class and economy class. On long-haul flights, three service classes are offered: Economy, premium economy, and business class, which includes lie-flat seats.
Around 10 million passengers travel to more than 70 destinations

Condor has flown passengers to leading destinations worldwide since 1956, and since March 2025 has operated up to three daily flights from Frankfurt to major cities. Every year, about 10 million passengers fly with the airline to more than 70 destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America.
At the end of 2022, Condor became the first German airline to acquire fuel-efficient Airbus A330neo aircraft, initiating a complete fleet renewal process for long-haul flights that was completed in spring 2024. By 2031, the company's long-haul fleet is expected to expand to 25 A330neo aircraft. In addition, since 2024, the company has been renewing its short- and medium-haul fleet and is expected to acquire a total of 43 new Airbus A32Xneo family aircraft by 2029.
