Sukkot events at heritage sites
The Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel, in cooperation with the Heritage Ministry, invites the public to participate in a variety of Sukkot events for the whole family at dozens of heritage sites nationwide. Among this year's activities: Returning to the North, Returning to Heritage - visits to selected heritage sites in the North for NIS 10 per person, including guided tours, escape games, olive harvesting and oil production, art activities, and more.

Enjoy the Dream Sukkot festival, a unique event in the Ben Shemen Forest, along with a variety of experiential activities for the whole family across the country: Olive harvesting, nature workshops, performances by children's stars, and many other surprises during Hol Hamoed Sukkot. Among the events: A nature happening overlooking the Sea of Galilee, a Sukkot adventure at the Ilanot Botanical Garden, autumn songs and birds in the Horshim Forest, a family happening in the Angels Forest, musical performances in the forests, and more.

Ofer malls across the country will offer craft activities, play areas, inflatables, shows, workshops, and attractions for the whole family during Hol Hamoed. Among the attractions: A blue-and-white games fair at Ofer Grand Mall Haifa, a Sukkot craft and imagination complex in Petah Tikva, a colorful jungle carnival for the whole family in Rehovot, and more.

Sukkot at BIG: Experiences, extreme, circus, and attractions
BIG centers and BIG FASHION malls across the country will offer a range of activities for the whole family during Hol Hamoed: Extreme festivals, craft activities, Lego complexes, street performances, circus, fire, and juggling shows, living statues, balloon artists, face painters, DJs, dancer performances, and more.

Breathing culture during Hol Hamoed Sukkot
The Breathing Culture initiative by Mifal Hapayis and the Nature and Parks Authority returns for the 13th time, inviting visitors to enjoy cultural and artistic performances for the whole family in selected national parks across the country. The project will take place during Hol Hamoed Sukkot and will feature street performances, music, dance, circus, theater, and a variety of activities engaging hikers in the heart of nature and heritage sites.

Sukkot with Jeremy's circle
Jeremy's Circle, an organization supporting children and teenagers growing up in families coping with cancer, offers events for the whole family. At the Tisch Family Zoological Gardens in Jerusalem, there will be a joint gathering and family time. At the Balagan amusement park at Kibbutz Yagur, visitors can enjoy free use of facilities and activities for all ages. Additionally, a reunion for Jeremy's Camp alumni will take place at Sky Town Tel Aviv, featuring a ropes and extreme sports park.

Sukkot at the Sea of Galilee
The Kinneret Cities Association invites the public during Hol Hamoed Sukkot to join experiential sailings on The Floating Laboratory research boat, guided hikes along various sections of the Sea of Galilee Trail (from the Arik Bridge to Beit HaBek; from Diamond Beach to Kursi Beach; and a nature hike in the Samakh Stream estuary reserve), as well as ancient crafts workshops at Kursi Beach.

Acre International Festival for Fringe Theater
The Acre International Festival for Fringe Theater offers a rich and diverse program of street, circus, dance, music, and interactive performances, featuring unique original productions alongside leading works from all performing arts. The colorful performances and displays will take place throughout the Old City and will be open to the general public free of charge. The festival will also offer food and sales stalls, as well as a beer complex.

Games fair at Ofer Grand Mall
During Hol Hamoed Sukkot, a giant games fair designed for the whole family will open at Ofer Grand Mall Haifa, operating for four days free of charge. The fair will be designed and inspired by blue-and-white colors, featuring a wide range of experiential stations, challenging and amusing games, and workshops in the spirit of the holiday.

KKL-JNK Birdathon Happening at the Kibbutz wonder secret
A fascinating family experience during Hol Hamoed Sukkot: Setting out on a journey following the major bird migration occurring during this season. As part of the festival, visitors will enjoy a riddle hunt, experiential tasks, and nature observations. Every family that completes the adventure enters a prize raffle. Additionally, various workshops and activities will take place.

The 8th Chocolate Festival in Nof Hagalil
Miki, the Tarasov family, Royki Matzhiki, and Meni Mamtera will star in the festival taking place during Hol Hamoed Sukkot. Alongside the performances, there will be a chocolatiers tent, chocolate parades, craft workshops, inflatables, photo areas, and various activities for the whole family.

Creating art - Open houses in Zichron Ya'acov
More than 30 homes, galleries, studio spaces, and points of interest across the moshava will open to the general public during Hol Hamoed Sukkot, offering direct encounters with local Zichron art and creativity, alongside workshops and activities for the whole family.

Sukkot at the Golan Heights Heritage and Heroism Center
The Golan Heights Heritage and Heroism Center will open to the general public with activities for the whole family, alongside an introduction to the story of the 188th Brigade and the battle heritage in the Golan Heights. The Barak Association will offer guided tours of the heritage center, interactive stations, children's activities, craft areas, a kosher sukkah, and a holiday atmosphere for the whole family.

Autumn breeze: Sukkot at Ramat Hanadiv
Ramat Hanadiv, a nature park and gardens connecting people, nature, and community, invites families and visitors to spend Hol Hamoed Sukkot in nature. Over six days, there will be butterfly, lantern, bat, and night bird tours, a vulture tour, and a night tour to discover scorpions and nocturnal insects. In addition, there will be workshops on nature photography, medicinal plants, and navigation, a walking play by lantern light, and stargazing.

Candy Land Festival in Kiryat Ata
The festival will feature two complexes designed in a candy-world theme: The Sweet Accessories area, where children will make a candy-shaped pillow doll, a candy jar with clay candy sculptures, and a lentil rabbit; and the Dessert area, where they will make a different dessert each day, including chocolate ball ice cream, Hansel and Gretel's House, candy sushi, and more. For ages 3 to 12.

Fairy-Tale Sukkot in Ma'alot-Tarshiha with Noa Kirel and Eden Ben Zaken
Ma'alot-Tarshiha is hosting the Tasting Cultures 2026 festival, offering three days packed with diverse culture: Music, performances, plays, dance, circus, workshops, exhibitions, a farmers market, and family events across the city. Highlights of the event include performances by Noa Kirel, Eden Ben Zaken, and the Cinderella musical.

Sukkot in colors in Daliat al-Karmel
An experiential, artistic, cultural, and culinary Druze festival for the whole family. At the center of the festival, Dalia Street will be transformed into a colorful work of art led by international artist Sam Halabi, a resident of Daliat al-Karmel, who is known for his paint-splattering technique used in his House of Colors. Halabi will turn the street into a giant canvas, inviting visitors to become part of the creation and experience the encounter between art, place, community, and audience.

It All Begins from Genesis Festival in Hadera
A celebration of events for the whole family at the Sukkot festival taking place in Hadera. As part of the festival, viewers will watch Biblical stories come to life: Noah's Ark will awaken, figures from the Garden of Eden and Jacob's Ladder will meet the audience, Biblical musicians will roam the streets, and acrobatics, theater, and music performances will fill the Piazza.

Celebrating Hol Hamoed Sukkot in Nahariya
Nahariya will host beloved guests for children as part of the A Sukkah Performance events during Hol Hamoed week. In addition, activities will take place in parks and the botanical garden, a wine festival on the promenade, and a farmers market in Lev Park with a huge stall fair of local produce, alongside a festive performance by Shoteh Hanevua Roi Levi hosting special guest reggae legend Tony Ray.

The 20th Jaffa Children's Theater Festival
Three days of theater, circus, clowning, puppetry, music, and imagination performances for children and the whole family: Plays in Hebrew and Arabic, bilingual works, non-verbal and gibberish performances, four premieres, a sensory-friendly performance accessible for children with special needs, and outdoor shows with free entry.

Sukkot with Vertigo at the Dance in the Village Festival
The Dance in the Village festival returns for three days of cultural celebration in nature, featuring dance, music, video art, movement, art, and community, alongside outdoor events and activities open to the public free of charge. At the center of the program: A 2027 preview of a new work by the Vertigo Dance Company, created by Noa Wertheim and Rina Wertheim-Goren, alongside a Q&A session with the creators.

Open day at Shoresh Ve'aleh Farm
An open day and planting event at the farm: Including a guided tour of the farm visiting the hydroponic greenhouse to see how vegetables are grown on water, and exploring the organic field to view seasonal vegetables grown without spraying and with much care. Following the tour, visitors are invited to join the autumn planting of a variety of vegetables.

Ramla World City Festival
Noa Kirel, Ma Kashur, Stephane Legar, Regev Hod, Eyal Levi, Michal Hakatana, Meni Mamtera, Maya Papaya, Like Queen, and many others will perform at the Ramla World City festival. The event features music performances, children's shows, community performances, parades, street shows, attraction areas, sports and water activities, gaming, culinary offerings, guided tours, and more. Also, for the first time, the audiovisual show The White Tower Awakens will be presented.

Ra'anana Municipal Sukkah: Dudu Fisher and Orna Porat
The Ra'anana Municipality will set up an active sukkah during the holiday, featuring various events and activities. Activities open to the general public include a Lego workshop for children, the Ranana band hosting Dudu Fisher, the children's play Parables of Streams by the Orna Porat Theater, family laughter yoga accompanied by live drumming, and the children's play Dream Sukkah.

Crafts and Sweet Nature Festival in Netanya
Do-it-yourself workshops where pinecones are transformed into colorful forest animals as hanging decorations, along with creating nature-toned dreamcatchers. Additionally, a special dessert-building workshop will allow children to create their own Sweet Forest in a cup. For ages 3 to 12.

Little Japan in Ra'anana
The festival will feature several content stations: A Japanese calligraphy station with drawing booths for copying and practicing traditional words and symbols, and an origami station for self-guided paper folding with video tutorials. In addition, there will be craft workshops including sculpting sugar dough sushi, decorating Japanese fans, designing lampshades and lamps, manga-inspired bag styling, and designing Japanese-style notebooks and writing instruments. The Kfar Saba Arim Mall complex will transform into a circus world, featuring colorful decor, photo stations, and four classic fair game booths. Green Festival in Jerusalem
The festival will include guided tours in Gazelle Valley, Ein Handak, Nahal Lavan, and urban nature landscapes; a workshop for making ecological sukkah decorations, bicycle repairs, and plant printing on fabrics; workshops for preparing and swapping plant cuttings, building bird nesting boxes, and woodworking; sustainability fairs and a community market, a green building tour at the National Library, a green film screening at the Jerusalem Cinematheque, and a play by the Train Theater. Dozens of additional activities on nature, sustainability, and community will take place across the city.

Sukkot at the Israel Museum
The Israel Museum invites the public to celebrate Sukkot with family activities: Olive harvesting in cooperation with the Ofaimm farm to experience the olive harvest tradition in the art garden; a family drumming and rhythm workshop led by the BOOMAKA group; workshops for creating shoe sculptures from household items inspired by the Shoe Stories exhibition; hands-on experiences with reusable materials; storytime for young children; and guided tours throughout the museum.

Eilat Street Theater Festival
For two days, circus artists, acrobats, living statues, and fantastical characters will entertain pedestrians along the Eilat Promenade with singing and dancing. Shows, children's plays, and activities will take viewers into magical worlds with creatures floating in the air and on the ground. The festival will also feature a fencing workshop for the whole family, inflatables, musicians, actors, a Lego complex, and more.

The Eilat Municipality invites the public to enjoy the Sukkot Festival: September 27 features Rinat Gavai in a kids' show, Sasson Shaulov, and Afik Ayobi and his band; September 28 features Michal Hakatana in a kids' show, Mor Revai in a youth show, and Tislam in concert; September 29 features Eyal Levi in a children and youth show, Ofir Yohai with the U Live band, and Tuna in concert.

Wild About Nature - Sukkot Happening at the Eilat Birding Center
Over two days of activity, visitors can join guided sessions on bird life passing through the park and observe flamingos and other waterfowl using telescopes. Theater Elad will hold a musical dance tour through the park, where participants receive headphones for a silent disco experience. In addition, there will be craft activities and more.

Piyut Festival in Yeruham
A rich festival connecting East and West, community, and outdoor performances by leading Israeli artists with free admission to all events. Highlights include performances by Ethnix, Berry Sakharof, Ishtar, Narkis, and a special tribute show to the late Yishai Levi featuring his son Yishai and Amir Benayoun. A central part of the festival will celebrate the heritage of Yeruham's communities.

In the heart of Beersheba's Old City, salsa, bachata, line dancing, a Brazilian dancer carnival, batucadas, and capoeira will take place alongside artist stalls for jewelry, fashion, and crafts. Nightlife venues will host Oktoberfest celebrations featuring beers, live performances, DJ sets, lectures, guest chefs, desert wine tastings, bar tours, and cultural content.
