locations throughout the football tournament season. And yes, it is indeed fiery.

The Mexican restaurant chain "Mexicana" and the hot sauce brand Tabasco are launching a new culinary collaboration to mark the summer football celebration and the kickoff of the World Cup matches, which will take place in Mexico.

The move was born out of the natural connection between Mexicana's vibrant Mexican cuisine and the spicy flavors identified with Tabasco, with the aim of creating a viewing and hosting experience around the football matches, featuring dishes suitable for World Cup nights with friends. As part of the collaboration, two main dishes will be launched and offered at all chain locations throughout the tournament period.

The first dish is Crunchy Nachos x Tabasco Sauce – handmade crunchy corn nachos coated in Mexicana's spice blend and red Tabasco, served with a choice of dip from a variety of sauces and toppings. The dish also includes a mini bottle of red Tabasco.

Alongside it, a new special dish called "Burrito Pollo Tabasco" will be served, which includes seared chicken breast, lime rice, frijoles, pico de gallo, nacho fragments, and Mexican cabbage, with chipotle seasoning and Tabasco salsa picante sauce.

The dishes will be offered in several versions, with different combinations of sauces such as guacamole, cheddar, salsa roja, and frijoles, within a price range of NIS 35–62, and will be available for self-pickup and delivery throughout the entire World Cup period.

Tasting before everyone else

We went to check if the new combination of Tabasco and "Mexicana" really stands by its promise – and whether it is as spicy as it sounds. The short answer: Yes, big time.

Right from the first bite of the nachos, it is hard to be mistaken – this is a dish that declares in advance that it is not just another snack next to the screen. The spiciness here is present and fiery, but does not lose control completely, and manages to integrate with the Mexican seasoning in a way that feels precise and not exaggerated.

The "Burrito Pollo Tabasco" also surprises for the better: A combination of seared chicken, lime rice, frijoles, and Tabasco salsa picante sauce creates a dish with a clear depth of flavors, alongside a line of spiciness that accompanies almost every bite.

The bottom line, this is a natural collaboration in the Mexican food sector: Spicy, yet precise exactly in the dosage needed to make it a natural option for World Cup nights. Not for everyone – but definitely for anyone looking for a truly fiery experience in front of the screen.
