Among the terrorists killed was the commander of Hezbollah’s Nasser Unit, Hajj Salameh. Less than two months after his killing, two of his successors, Mahdi Bazzi and Ashraf Salloum, were killed.
The PIJ terrorists were identified as Muhammad Atiya Hassan Abu Afash, Farhat Zuhair Farhat Harara, and Abdallah Allah Riyadh Masoud Qadoum, the military said.

Former HFC official Dedi Simchi said Iran’s attacks were expected, arguing Israel must strike Hezbollah when needed despite the threat of Iranian fire.
Iran fired more than 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, as the IDF warned the renewed conflict could last several days and intensify further.
According to Gallant, such an operation would be dangerous, but "worth paying the price to avoid an existential risk."
The restrictions include a total closure of all educational institutions, cancellation of exams, and stricter limits on gatherings and workplaces.
"The incident ended in a great miracle," said Samaria Regional Council Yossi Dagan, "but it illustrates the urgent need to strengthen protection in the communities."
