Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser has been outspoken about his support for Israel and against the rise of antisemitism.

Antisemitism knows no political boundaries. While on the Left more seems directed at Israel with some spillover to the American Jewish community, the targets on the Right tend to be Jews.

Some analysts and former officials say the expansion of the democratic socialist base is also in response to the Biden administration's backing of Israel's war in Gaza following October 7.

Both candidates support the US-Israel alliance while opposing Netanyahu's policies, though Cait Conley is leading in the polls in the primarily Jewish congressional district.
