"Following new information and evidence, they (counter-terrorism police) are now leading on the investigation into the horrific murder of Ann Widdecombe," interior minister Shabana Mahmood stated.

The shooting involved US Immigration and Customs Enforcement; details are being confirmed.

The 19-year-old was stabbed during a fight on Saturday.
