Ammunition Hill memorial now honors Six-Day War veterans killed on October 7

DOMESTIC AFFAIRS: Built on a base of rough stones used by the members of the 66th Battalion to memorialize their fallen, the monument has evolved into a memorial for the all battalion's fallen.

THE 66TH BATTALION memorial at Jerusalem’s Ammunition Hill now bears four sections, tracing the unit’s losses from the Battle for Jerusalem in 1967 to Israel’s subsequent wars, and, most recently, honoring five veterans Hamas murdered during or after the October 7 massacre.
